Lagom is an easy-to-build full featured 65% keyboard using only through hole components. Available now in black or white.

This bundle contains almost everything you need to start building your Lagom keyboard and program it yourself using QMK or Vial.

Features:

  • Flexible layout options (ANSI, ISO, 6.25u or 7u or split space, split backspace)
  • Discrete microcontroller (like the Pro Micro USB-C included in the bundle) for greater flexibility, connectivity options and ease of construction
  • 2 rotary encoders (included, for things like volume, next/previous track and brush size)
  • OLED screen (included, for things like WPM counts and adorable cats)
  • Integrated sandwich style FR4 case (with the PCB floating between a switch plate and the base)

  • Switches (72, MX 3 pin or 5 pin)
  • Stabilisers (for the larger keys like Space and Shift, you’ll need PCB mounted ones)
  • Keycaps

What’s included:

What’s not included (and you’ll need you source yourself):

  • MX compatible switches (3 pin or 5 pin, up to 72 of them depending on the layout)
  • Keycaps
  • PCB mount stabilisers (for bigger keys like Space and Shift, the amount you need depends on the layout you go for)
  • RGB light strip (optional, but it is possible to add a WS2812b light strip under the PCB for extra glow)
  • Knobs for the rotary encoders

What tools and equipment will you need to build this keyboard:

  • A soldering iron
  • Solder
  • Flux (optional but recommended)
  • Flush cutter pliers
  • A small amount of electrical tape

Supported layouts:

  • Regular caps lock or stepped caps lock
  • ANSI (with 2.25u left shift, 2.25u enter and 1.5u pipe) or ISO (with split left shift (1.25u + 1u) and ISO enter key)
  • Regular 2.25u left shift or split left shift (1.25u + 1u)
  • Regular 2u Backspace or split backspace (1u + 1u)
  • Bottom row options:
    • 1.25u, 1.25u, 1.25u, 6.25u space, 1.25u, 1.25u
    • 1.25u, 1.25u, 1.25u, Split space (2.25u + 1.25u + 2.75u)
    • 1.5u, 1u, 1.5u, 7u space, 1.5u
  • Two rotary encoders or optionally 2 switches in their place
